The Gospel of MARK is the shortest and probably the earliest of the 4 Gospels of Jesus Christ. Yet it describes certain events in greater details and has its own unique emphasis. It focuses on the public life and ministry of Jesus Christ. It was written by Mark based on Peter’s account of his walk with Jesus when He was on earth. It is an action Gospel that emphasises the dynamic and busy ministry of Jesus as the Mighty Servant of God, master teacher, and man of action. It is symbolised by the bull as servant, leader, and sacrifice.
