The Book of EZEKIEL is an Important and complex major prophetic OT Book. Ezekiel prophesied to the Israelites who were in exile from the Promised Land in Babylon. His messages were received and relayed by complex visions & dreams, striking theatrical dramas, symbolic poetry and acted parables. He deals with fundamental principles in God's law in relation to Israel's walk and why judgement was deserved. He declared new prophecies that revealed God's action at that time and of hope in the future. In the book, we find his amazing vision of God & His angels, of God's glory leaving His temple, the foretelling a new covenant to come, of a valley of dry bones brought back to life, a new temple, a future transformed Promised Land, and of a river of life flowing out from the temple.
