The Book of EXODUS records the history of the call of God for Moses to deliver Israel from oppression in Egypt to become His Covenant Nation. Major events includes the Ten Plagues on Egypt, the Passover, the Crossing of the Red Sea, the Mount Sinai Covenant, the formation of the levitical priesthood, and the revelation and construction of the Tabernacle. It shows the faithfulness of Yahweh, the God of Israel and creation, against the wavering faith of the people.
