1 CORINTHIANS is an early epistle of Paul to the church at Corinth, a church he started in his missionary journey. It teaches many important lessons against divisions in the church, sexual immorality, eating food offered to idols, idolatry; and upholds marriage, gives guidance on the Lord’s Supper, using spiritual gifts, the way of godly love, proper worship, and the supreme importance of the Resurrection of Christ.
