1 & 2 THESSALONIANS are two early epistles of Paul written to the church in Thessalonica. They both focus on exhorting and guiding the church to look forward to the 2nd Coming of Christ with joy but responsibly. In the 1st, Paul reveals that the dead in Christ will rise first to join those who are alive when Christ returns. He calls the church to rejoice always and pray without ceasing. In the 2nd, he reveals that the lawless one will come before Christ returns. While waiting for His return, idleness is not an option. If one will not work, one will not eat.
